Our pneumatic vent valves allow air to escape in one direction only and reliably prevent inflow. This protects internal components and meets the highest protection requirements, such as IP65. They ensure stable pressure equalisation in housings, pneumatic systems or sensitive assemblies.
In the example shown, venting was achieved using a G1/4 vent valve equipped with several vent slots. Two O-rings provide reliable protection against the ingress of foreign media.
The number of holes and O-rings depends on the pressure, volume flow and permissible pressure loss at the valve. Lead-free aluminium was chosen as the material and then black anodisedto ensure corrosion protection and durability.
